This is why I love Armond. He's all over the place, borderline insane, and compulsively readable.

Did LAT just hire you as a book critic? If not, they should. You've mastered the use of "compulsively readable." I'm sure you're very close to perfection of "a stirring examination of the American Dream," "A charming slice of Americana" and, most importantly, "a genuine tour de force."
