Hey, he said it, I didn't.

From Reason's blog:

"Arrested Development will probably be cancelled this season, which means we'll soon see a dropoff in the number of articles telling us what boobs we are for not appreciating that heavy-handed, relentlessly unfunny show and an increase in the number of articles telling us what boobs we were for not appreciating that heavy-handed, relentlessly unfunny show."

And let the hatred pour forth. (Link provided by Tim, so send hate mail his way too.)

C'mon, Dash. I'd figure your Arrested Development-honed wit would be sharper than that.

Indeed, as I hate all humor, this Family Guy went soaring over my head.

Back to reading Nikolai Gogol in my unheated, candle-lit apartment.

Hmmm. Interesting. None of you are funny.

And of course the bloggers at Reason wouldn't like the funny. They are still angry that FOX cancelled the Ayn Rand Comedy Hour.

"Back to reading Nikolai Gogol in my unheated, candle-lit apartment."

That statement is ironic for two reasons: 1 - Gogol's stories often in cold settings, esp Overcoat 2 - it's fucking freezing in my room 3 - i use candles, like two nights ago when the power went out

I agree it was not a funny show, nor even entertaining. Watching it was like listening to someone who is certain that he is clever because he has read the 'right' books and can parrot other people who actually are clever.

Dan: You forgot to add to the list that you're also (4) humorless and (5) Russian.

Shamus: Welcome to the club.
