Mmmm... Lists...
Thank you, people, for going along with my little obsession.
Not only do I get to pour over lists, but it's added an urgency to a bunch of films I've been meaning to see forever. (Ran, Au Hasard Balthazar, and Double Suicide among others.)
Here's what we have so far:

I've never seen Edward II, Double Suicide or The Goonies. The list grows ever-longer.
I have a vivid memory of walking into a Vitenamese mom-and-pop video store and naively asking the woman, "Do you have female trouble?" She was ready to deck me.
Ha.
OK, Girish, question re: your list. I've yet to see a HHH film and have been meaning to for ages. Flowers of Shanghai is next on my Netflix queue... Do you think I should switch it to Puppetmaster? Or is there a better place to start?
Ben, all the HHH movies are great. Puppetmaster is a bit more demanding and long, so I'd recommend Flowers as a perfect entry point.
It'll knock you out.
(I've seen it 4 times and I can't wait to see it yet again).
Edward II is by far the best film featuring Tilda Swinton, a gay rights protest cum Royal Army, and Annie Lennox ever made.
Alas Joshua, I've been reading about Derek Jarman for years but I'm still yet to see one of his films. Edward II it shall be.
