The Marcello factoid blows my mind.
Just realized that Dominique Sanda, in addition to playing Anna in "The Conformist", was also in De Sica's "Garden of the Finzi-Continis" and Bresson's "Une Femme Douce", all in the same year.
nice dvd releases including edward II.
